i had a great time this summer, meeting lots of cool people, learning to play a new instrument, having some good times, and all that. i am incredibly glad i did it, and i intend on joining next year again.
i also found this past weekend to be mostly enjoyable. time spent with friends in brass was time spent well. aside from the god-awful smell on the busride home... ugh, gross. we still don't know who decided it would be ok to take a shit on the bus. unless it was just that much piss that made the smell. either way, it was gag-inducing. i felt bad for rollo, alan, and megan cruze because they sat in the three-seater right next to the bathroom...
but yeah! go drum corps!! |

| less than 2 weeks until I return for another year of college... oh well, I'm looking forward to not being a new person on campus. Hopefully, it's a fun time. My classes are primarily music classes, which never strike me as overly hard. Looking forward to the "Marching Band Techniques & Ensemble Administration" course... haha. |

| the only downside i have found with drum corps is that i cannot wear my usual footwear of sandals -- backwards marching just doesn't work out so hot with them |
